Frequently asked questions

What does Creative Agent do?

Creative Agent is an independent digital studio based in Budapest, Hungary, working with English-speaking clients worldwide. We design and build custom websites, e-commerce stores, web applications and brand identities, and we automate business workflows with AI. Everything is built from scratch rather than assembled from templates.

Where are you based, and do you work with clients abroad?

We are based in Budapest and work remotely with clients across Europe, the UK and North America. Projects run in English, over email and scheduled calls, with a written scope agreed before any work starts.

How much does a website cost?

A single-page or small marketing site typically starts around €1,000–€3,000. A multi-page site with a CMS usually lands between €5,000 and €15,000. E-commerce stores and web applications generally run from €15,000 upwards, depending on integrations and complexity. We give a fixed price after a scoping conversation, not before.

How long does a project take?

A marketing site takes roughly four to eight weeks from kickoff to launch. An e-commerce build or web application usually takes three to six months. The largest variable is how quickly content and feedback come back from your side, so we agree a schedule for both at the start.

What technology do you build on?

We choose the stack per project rather than defaulting to one. Typically that means Laravel or Node on the back end, React or a server-rendered front end, and WordPress when the content is genuinely article-shaped and your team wants an editor they already know. We will tell you when a custom build is not worth the money.

Do you redesign existing websites?

Yes. We audit what exists first — traffic, structure, performance, and what is actually failing — then recommend a redesign, a rebuild, or targeted fixes. Sometimes the honest answer is that a redesign is not the problem worth solving.

Can you take over a site somebody else built?

Usually. We review the codebase and hosting before committing, so we can tell you honestly whether taking it on is sensible or whether a rebuild costs less over two years.

What do you need from us to start?

A description of the problem, a rough budget range, and the name of one person who can make decisions. We work out the rest with you. There is no charge for the first conversation and no obligation after it.

Who owns the work when it is finished?

You do. Ownership of the design and the code transfers to you on final payment, set out in the project agreement. You get the repository, the assets and the credentials — we do not hold a site hostage.

Do you offer support after launch?

Yes, either as a retainer for ongoing development and maintenance, or ad hoc when something needs attention. Every project is handed over documented enough that another developer could pick it up without us.
