Every project starts with a conversation about the problem rather than the deliverable. We then write down the scope, the price and the schedule, and nothing begins until both sides have signed it.
Design and build run with you seeing real work at short intervals, not a reveal at the end. After launch we stay available, either on a retainer or ad hoc, and the project is documented well enough that another developer could take it over.
